- We accept most of the common software packages currently Adobe Illustrator CS3, ‘Photoshop CS3, ‘Indesign CS3 and Quark Xpress 7. Print ready pdf files are also ideal.
- When creating artwork for popup displays please do not include any bleed and create the document as one page - we will split it into individual drops at the printing stage.
- Save all files as CMYK and blacks as 60% Cyan, 60% Magenta, 60% Yellow, 100% Black. (This ensures a solid black.)
- Save all image files as JPEG, Tiff or .eps. but please do not use LZW compression.
- If you are including scanned images, the scanning dpi depends on the size of the original and the size of the output. As a guide aim for around 100dpi at finished output size. The finished file size should be around 400Mb for 4 drop pop ups and 80Mb for roller posters. Anything significantly larger is wasted information or smaller will see degradation in image quality.
- Include all fonts used or outline them. (We will only use them to print your work.)
- Save to either CD or DVD or upload to an ftp site (ours is accessible from our website). When uploading fonts to an ftp site please use Winzip or Stuffit to compress the fonts folder to protect them from corruption.
- Include a visual, colour if possible.
