What to Wear
Make sure, too, that the staff are easily identified. Some exhibition organisers supply exhibitors' badges, others don't. However even if badges are supplied, having your own helps your stand staff stand out. And insist that everyone wears them, all of the time, even during coffee and meal breaks. Business can be done then too.
Some companies provide printed tee-shirts, or sweaters, or some other sort of uniform for their staff. Whether you do so or not depends largely upon whether it would be appropriate for your company. If you are using a girl, a tee-shirt or a special uniform can be most attractive, and for certain kinds of company having the men in a company tee-shirt can be right.
Generally speaking men should dress conservatively — a business suit is the obvious choice - as that is what most visitors would expect.
